You can use your sponge both wet and dry.
Wet: Use the damp sponge if you don’t need too much coverage, for example to get a thin, well-distributed layer. In this way, if you have dry skin, you will prevent makeup from accumulating in the driest areas. However, if you use it wet, you will have to be more careful not to leave marks.
Dry: use the sponge dry for when you use your concealer, if you need to apply a thicker layer or want to cover spots or marks.
Care: You can use your sponges more than once, but above all try to let it dry well when you wash it and change it regularly.
